National Institute for Design (N.I.D)

About NID

This institute in Ahmedabad was set up in 1961 by the Government of India as an autonomous national institute for education, research, service and training in Industrial Design and Communication Design.

Courses offered here are:

A) Post Graduate Diploma Programme in Design (PGDPD).

B) Graduate Diploma Programme in Design (GDPD)

The entrance examination is divided into two sections:

A) Drawing Ability (Every year in January)

B) Workshop. – Interview.(Every year in April)

We, at Basic Institute of Art, offer preparation courses for both the above sections
